The MOSS First Lego League Robotics 2025 Rookie Team attended the Western PA FLL Challenge Grand Championship on Saturday, December 13th at Aliquippa High School.
They competed in the Robot Table Game and achieved their highest score of the season, 320 points, coming in 18th place out of 78 teams.They won special recognition awards in all three of their presentation categories of Innovation Project, Robot Design and Core Values. Only 15 of the 78 teams were considered for these special recognition awards in each category.They earned a trophy for third place overall for their Innovation Project Presentation.
Their combined scores for the Robot Table Game and Innovation Project, Robot Design and Core Values Presentations earned them enough points to be one of only eight teams moving on to the Pennsylvania State First Lego League Championship on February 14, 2026 in Hershey, PA and the only Rookie team to do so from Western PA!
