Mr. Rick McAteer

Gym & Recess Coordinator

Mr. McAteer originally began working at MOSS in the mid 1990’s as the Recess Coordinator. He took a break as the Recess Coordinator during the construction years and returned to the same position in 2007. In 2009, he also took on the position of Physical Education teacher. Mr. McAteer received a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education from the University of Pittsburgh. His favorite things about MOSS are the family atmosphere and all of the wonderful parents who assist during recess.

When asked about her teacher, one student had this to say: " He is a great gym teacher and I love gym class. He is really nice. My favorite thing to do at gym is play hockey!"
